While enrolled in Code Chica++, students will:

• Be placed in a vibrant cohort of students that are eager to learn advanced coding, the fundamentals of web development, and engineering to build features on an existing application

• Come eager to learn from industry professionals, and gain valuable networking experience to assist them in the college application process

Information about Code Chica++:

• Dates: April 16th - June 18th (Saturdays)

• Class from: 11AM - 2PM CST online

• This program is available to Code Chica alumni, meaning you have graduated from a previous Code Chica cohort.

• Students may not miss more than one class for the duration of the program. Students must be present for all class days (with the exception of one excused absence) to receive the stipend.

Students will work together with their Instructor and guest speakers that currently work in computer science, engineering, technology development, and more, and will learn fundamentals of development and engineering, to build their own features in teams! In Code Chica++, Chicas will be using the platform GitHub to learn about source control, writing tests, fixing bugs, and other development fundamentals. Throughout the cohort, they will be working in teams to build new features on an existing application. The girls will get to explore roles such as Product Manager, Designer and Engineer in their groups. At the final showcase, the Chicas will present with their teams and demonstrate how they built and developed their features.

This program is FREE, and upon completion of the program, students will receive a $75 stipend and a certificate outlining their accomplishments.

Mientras estén inscritos en el Programa de Certificación Code Chica++, los estudiantes:

• Ser ubicado en una cohorte vibrante de estudiantes ansiosos por aprender lo esencial de codificación avanzada, los fundamentos del desarrollo y la ingeniería para crear características en una aplicación existente

• Venga ansioso por aprender de los profesionales de la industria y obtenga una valiosa experiencia en redes para ayudarlos en el proceso de solicitud de la universidad.

• Este programa está disponible para estudiantes que han graduado de la programa de Code Chica.

• Los estudiantes no pueden perder más de una clase durante la duración del programa. Los estudiantes deben estar presentes durante todos los días de clase (con la excepción de una ausencia justificada) para recibir el estipendio.

¡Los estudiantes trabajarán junto con instructores y oradores invitados que actualmente trabajan en ciencias de la computación, ingeniería, desarrollo de tecnología y más!

Este programa es GRATUITO, y al finalizar el programa, los estudiantes recibirán un estipendio de $ 75 y un certificado que describe sus logros.
