The S.M.A.R.T.T. Program

Description

About this Event

Spending More Academic Retention Time Together has always been vital, yet every since the entire world has been hit hard by COVID-19 it is even more imperative that we teach young African American students how to thrive in "THE NEW NORMAL" educational environment.

The S.M.A.R.T.T. Program was designed to introduce study habits, time management skills and other skills to all African American students & their families. Let's level the playing field for African American kids, by teaching them the skills it takes to become a proficient student. This discussion is more than teaching African American kids the necessary skills to become a great student, this discussion is centered on the family as a unit in order to assist a young student in their quest to achieve academic excellence.

We all learn differently, and we each have our own style of studying. No two people are exactly the same when it comes to study preferences. To get the most out of studying, it's important to better understand what works for your, and what doesn't.

Parents sign up for this guided discussion to learn some tricks and tips to help your child learn more effectively during this COVID-19 Pandemic.
