None of what we do means a thing without a stellar front-end experience (inc. UI / UX). Your role is therefore critical and vital to our success.

As one of our first iOS Engineers, you’ll be responsible for expanding our existing iOS app and for building our new Apple HomePod Assistant / Skill. We’ll be counting on you to help us improve the product and overall customer experience as we build on our initial traction.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Oversee the development and test of our iOS app
  • Manage the product roadmap and collaborate with the design team / Android team for the implementation of new features on an ongoing basis
  • Oversee the development and test of our first ever Apple HomePod Assistant / Skill

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS) or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ year of software development experience in Swift and/or React Native in the Consumer space (B2C)
  • Experience with mobile lifecycle management (e.g., release to Apple Store), libraries and best-practices
  • Standalone self-starter able to manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Passionate about modern app animations, UX design

Preferred qualifications (ranked by priority and not required):

  • 3+ years of mobile development experience with demonstrated high performance as a full time employee (or MA/MS degree in CS or a related field is also fine)
  • Has shipped one or more iOS apps (ideally available in the Apple Store now) in (B2C) Consumer space
  • Some experience with Android and/or React Native
  • Experience in consumer financial apps is a plus
  • Knowledge of mobile analytics and user acquisitions tools (e.g., MixPanel, FB SDK)
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, and JavaScript
  • Curious mind with keen interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills
