About the Center for Humane Technology
The Center for Humane Technology (CHT) is an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization based in San Francisco whose mission is to realign technology with our humanity. Our work expands beyond tech addiction to the broader threats that AI-driven persuasive technology poses to our well-being and our shared information environment, which are critical to our democracies and our capacity to tackle complex global challenges.
We raise awareness and drive change through high-profile presentations to global leaders, briefing sessions and public testimony to policymakers and heads of state, and mass media campaigns reaching millions, including recent coverage in CBS This Morning, Wall Street Journal, The Times UK, New York Times, Associated Press. We also mobilize technologists as advocates and collaborate with top tech leaders through workshops and closed door convenings.
Now entering our third year, we have built a world-class team of deeply concerned tech industry and social impact leaders who intimately understand how the tech industry’s culture, techniques, and business models control the 21st century digital infrastructure. We are dedicated to a radical reimagining of technology that operates for the common good.

- Manage an agency that is executing on a paid media strategy, coordinate messaging with a press team, and manage all administrative functions, including tracking and analytics.
