Sage is founded by a doctor (MD), computer science PhD, and child of immigrant parents.
He took care of hundreds of patients who -- despite their best efforts -- underwent unnecessary financial hardship with suboptimal health.
The reason: onerous, antiquated, & inefficient processes to find, qualify, and navigate patient benefits.
Worse, the most acutely affected were underserved and historically maginalized groups along with the individuals who care for them.
Sage aims to build products and services to alleviate these inefficiencies, while at the same time building a sustainable business.
