Earth day: Tech for Sustainable Transport (Age 7-11)

Description

Note: This resource was first designed and delivered in March 2024. If your class joined us for the Tech for Sustainable Transport lesson previously then they have already engaged with this content.

Join us on Monday 22nd April at 9.30am, when our Educational Partnerships and Experiences Lead (and experienced primary school teacher), Rachael, will deliver a virtual 50 minute Tech We Can LIVE lesson for children aged 7-11. This will be an interactive session where the students will be guided to complete paper based tasks and partner discussions - they therefore need to be based at a table with a piece of paper and pen/pencil.

Rachael will highlight the importance of sustainable transport for now and in the future. She will also show some of the tech careers within transport that students could pursue in the future.

The content is ideal for a Key Stage 2 lesson (P4 - P7 in Scotland) in the classroom environment or from home. Simply complete the registration form to reserve your spot and we'll send you a link to join the live lesson.

This session is being delivered to complement Earth Day.

Please join from 9:00am onwards if you would like to check your access and sound.
