Description

What Impact Will You Make in 2021?

About this Event

With 2021 just around the corner, how should you be preparing to consciously support and engage in your communities - your workplace, your neighborhood, your friend groups? What impact can you make in the new year?

Join the BCC’s Young BK Professionals on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 from 6:30-8:30 PM for its first monthly meeting, where a panel of social good professionals will provide some insight to these questions and discuss on how you and/or your organization can make a greater social impact in 2021. You will have the chance to network with others, ask panelists questions, and explore tangible opportunities for you to thoughtfully take action and mobilize change in your communities!

Our free YoungBK Meeting will include:

  • A panel discussion about the importance of diversity and representation (including how to achieve it), in areas such as race, gender, sexual orientation, and other various attributes - in order to have a more effective social impact
  • A short presentation about various ways you can make a greater social impact
  • Breakout room networking opportunities with local nonprofits, where you’ll learn how to join their organizational boards, plus other ways to become involved

The best part: every attendee leaves with a virtual goody bag, full of services and goods from social impact-driven professionals and businesses!

So kick off the year gaining the knowledge, resources, and connections that will allow you to have a greater impact in 2021 and beyond!
