You have some experience in qualitative analysis and are dedicated to using data to inform practice and support learning. About the position
The Associate, Assessment and Evaluation is responsible for supporting the assessment processes to track qualitative and quantitative progress of cradle-to-career partnerships, supporting building the capability of staff and network members to use the Theory of Action™ to guide partnership strategy and action. Additionally, the Associate will provide capacity for network wide surveys process and execution.
Responsibilities
Assessment Support
- Partner with the insights and analytics team to project manage assessment processes for all gateways in the Theory of Action™
- Manage network member communications for assessments, including but not limited to: assessment scheduling, reminders, follow-up, and network-wide communications via newsletters and the Partner Portal
- Liaise with consultants and on-staff assessment facilitators to meet assessment milestones.
- Support focus group coordination and facilitation with network member partners as part of the advanced assessment process
- Support assessment documentation processes, including focus group transcription and refinement of final network member recommendation reports
- Educate and integrate team members into the various assessment processes, including marketing, technology, and programs
- Support qualitative analysis of individual assessments
- Support StriveTogether staff and network members to use the Theory of Action™ effectively
Relationship Management and Communications
- Support prospective network members’ understanding of network entry expectations through informational sessions and one-on-one calls
- Support network members’ understanding and adherence to assessment expectations and timelines
- Prepare presentations and memos to communicate progress across the organization
Data Solutions Related to Assessments
- Update internal data systems to reflect network member progress through the Theory of Action
- Innovate with the insights and analytics team to improve civic infrastructure assessment processes and identify solutions to data challenges
- Support organizational internal- and external-facing survey implementation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years working to classify and assess qualitative data
- A strong orientation and commitment to integrating racial and ethnic equity in assessment and evaluation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Salesforce and the ability to learn new technologies
- High attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Adept at prioritizing and completing workload to deliver desired outcomes within allotted timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to write and prepare documents/ reports / correspondence / proposals in a concise, logical, grammatically appropriate format
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and tact
- Ability to establish credibility with management, staff and clients
Approximately 10% travel required
Position details
This is an exempt position with a salary range of $50,000 - $66,000 (min-max). StriveTogether offers competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience and skills. This position will be a remote role.
