Summary:
The Product Manager is a new role designed to support and ensure CAF America’s products and services continue to meet the evolving needs of the U.S. philanthropic sector, with a particular focus on our core audiences of high net asset individuals, corporate and corporate foundations and social purpose organizations. Collaborating closely with CAF’s strong product team in the UK, this role focuses on staying informed about and serving as the internal subject matter expert on US market trends, analyzing client feedback, and leading product development to ensure our offerings remain current, adaptable, financially sustainable, and aligned with the expectations of our donors and charity partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Market Insight & Product Evolution: Stay informed about the U.S. philanthropic landscape, including market trends, pricing, and audience needs. Lead smaller working groups across teams to identify challenges and opportunities for improving our products and services based on feedback from donors and charity partners.
- Pricing & Fee Structure Analysis : Assess CAF America’s current pricing models and cost-to-serve analysis. Lead discussions on potential adjustments to fee structures, ensuring they align with market trends and organizational growth goals.
- Client Relationships & Feedback: Survey select clients to assess satisfaction, uncover growth opportunities, and identify areas for product or service improvement. Analyze client feedback and industry trends to recommend enhancements and new product offerings.
- Product Roadmap & Strategy: Lead the development of the product roadmap and annual product profiles, considering features specific to the U.S. market. Evaluate how systems and processes support and interact with our product offerings, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational strategy of a OneCAF.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product leads, internal teams, and external clients to integrate feedback and develop actionable insights for product improvement. Collaborate with the UK Product team to incorporate U.S. market insights and ensure cross-team alignment.
- Product Performance & Annual Review: Monitor the performance of current products and services against established targets. Develop an annual product review that outlines performance, risks, areas for improvement, and potential new offerings. Maintain a list of potential features and tasks, ensuring they are organized and prioritized effectively.
- Strategic Product Development: Lead product development efforts, ensuring that new features or services align with CAF America’s long-term strategy. Identify opportunities to diversify product offerings to better serve U.S. donors.

- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
- Proven experience in product management, ideally within the philanthropic, nonprofit, or financial sectors.
- Strong understanding of U.S. philanthropy and the nonprofit sector, including donor behavior and market trends.
- Ability to analyze product performance, pricing models, and client feedback to drive improvements.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and present strategic insights clearly.
- Experience in developing product roadmaps, strategies, and managing the product life-cycle.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance UX, Tech and Business requirements
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Naturally curious mindset and desire to improve and iterate. Familiar with agile principles is a plus.
