About the Role:
As Visia's first GTM Engineer, you will own top-of-funnel for our sales function. You’ll cold call, craft personalized outreach, leverage AI help you research potential users of the Visia platform, attend industry conferences, and bring process rigor to how we engage prospects across industrial sectors. This is an execution-heavy role with real strategic exposure—perfect for someone who loves building systems, writing sharp messages, and learning how deals get done.

What You’ll Do:

Prospecting, Research, and Outbound Personalization

  • Automate research on prospects using LinkedIn, company websites, and market intelligence tools.
  • Enrich, clean, and sync data into HubSpot CRM with minimal manual input.
  • Build scalable outbound cadences and leverage AI tools like Clay, ChatGPT, and Apollo to generate personalized, dynamic messaging.
  • Monitor intent signals and engagement metrics to prioritize outreach and continuously optimize automated workflows.

Pipeline Support & GTM Ops

  • Join pipeline reviews to report on outbound progress and lead conversion.
  • Flag opportunities for sales process improvement and outbound automation.
  • Track outcomes of events, partnerships, and other GTM experiments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Field Engagement

  • Travel to industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to support lead capture, observe market trends, and build face-to-face relationships with prospects.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and senior leadership to align GTM strategy, share insights, and improve processes across the funnel.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting playbooks, outreach tactics, and account research strategies that scale across the team.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2–5 years in Business Development, Sales Ops, or another GTM function
  • Comfort with building automation systems and proactively leverage language models to drive operational efficiency and innovation
  • Fluent in HubSpot, email sequencing tools, and personalization tech like Clay
  • Experience supporting B2B sales teams and adapting content for different buyers
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a love for clean data and repeatable processes
  • Bonus: Familiarity with the waste & recycling, energy, or manufacturing sectors
