Candid currently has an opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to drive social change working for an exceptional technology and user centric nonprofit. Candid’s products offer best-in-class data about the social sector and are used by companies and nonprofits to facilitate their work as change agents. The Senior Product Manager will work with the Senior Director of Product Management to deliver features, products and services to Candid’s product portfolio, with emphasis on implementation of emerging technologies; executing end-to-end features that drive customer acquisition and retention. He/She/They will drive innovation that enhances overall customer experience to exceed expectations.

Schedule: 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday
Compensation: $121,000 - $170,000 (this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered).
Location: Remote. In-person attendance is expected twice per year during our annual, weeklong all-staff summits. Additional in-person meeting participation is expected at least once per quarter for senior leaders and at least once per month for the executive team. Staff not located in the NYC area are expected to travel for these meetings.

Responsibilities
- Own core SaaS product functionality including AI-enhanced user experiences, intelligent workflows, metrics and platform KPIs, in partnership with the Director of Product Management.
- Lead Product Discovery with Engineering, Design and Research to identify, prototype, and implement solutions using emerging technologies that automate workflows, surface insights, and deliver critical context at scale—continuously evaluating new tools to maintain competitive advantage.
- Partner with product teams to prioritize work toward collective OKRs, target metrics, and customer-driven features.
- Shape product strategy through user feedback, competitive analysis, AI market trends, and stakeholder input to inform current and future data and technology needs.
- Execute day-to-day product operations: manage product backlogs, maintain Jira boards, attend daily scrums, provide trade-off decisions, and approve releases as part of CI/CD processes.
- Create and maintain product documentation and release notes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present product updates, value propositions, and competitive differentiators to cross-divisional teams and external audiences.
- Create/own the sunset plan for legacy platforms (Foundation Directory, GuideStar Pro, Charity Check, Foundation Maps).
- Foster team unity and cross-team collaboration while embodying Candid's values and championing innovation in emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with complex, data-driven SaaS products.
- Deep familiarity with AI and emerging technologies, especially prototyping, generative tools, and practical implementations.
- Experience with B2B subscription products (Salesforce or similar) and payment processing systems including credit card and ACH.
- Technical proficiency with data queries, APIs, and search technology (nomenclature, approaches, and tooling).
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration between design, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills: technical specifications for internal teams and simplified content for external audiences.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- U.S.-based work hours preferred (EST-PST).
- Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
