About Mighty Acorn
At Mighty Acorn, we make it easier for governments to deliver world-class digital services. From renewing a fishing license to applying for unemployment benefits, we build digital services that enhance public trust and satisfaction.
Our vision is a world where “good enough for government work” returns to its pedestal: fast, reliable, and frustration-free. We achieve this by empowering people, increasing transparency, breaking down silos, and moving together toward a shared goal.
Specializing in modern software development, DevSecOps, and scalable infrastructure, we focus on leveraging automation to manage complexity, accelerate transformation, shorten feedback loops, and reduce risk to build a world where government programs run reliably, smoothly, and efficiently.
While our team averages 10+ years of experience in the industry, we are a relatively new (formed in 2023) professional services company. Our government clients engage us to improve their digital products and services in a way that ensures better outcomes for their users and stakeholders. That means our clients hire us for our expertise, which we bill our time for.
Delivery Managers at Mighty Acorn
This position is contingent, pending contract award.
At Mighty Acorn, our work sits at the intersection of technology and public service. We partner with government agencies to design new services, launch modern platforms, and modernize legacy systems that support programs relied on by millions of people.
Delivery managers play a critical role in ensuring that this work moves forward effectively. Working closely with product managers, engineers, designers, analysts, and government stakeholders, delivery managers help create clarity, maintain delivery momentum, and ensure teams can operate successfully in complex environments.
Serving as operational leaders on agile teams, delivery managers focus on coordinating work across projects and stakeholders, managing delivery risks, and maintaining visibility into progress across engagements. They help translate strategic goals into coordinated execution, ensuring teams have the structure, communication, and support needed to deliver high-impact outcomes.
Delivery managers help teams navigate complex environments where multiple stakeholders, systems, and priorities intersect. They bring strong organizational skills, proactive communication, a bias toward action, and a service-oriented mindset to help teams navigate ambiguity while maintaining forward progress.
